We are the research group of Professor Domenico Pacifici. We lead research projects involving photons and surface plasmons in nanoengineered materials and devices for information, sensing and energy-harvesting solutions.
Research interests are in the localization, generation and manipulation of light in subwavelength metallic structures, with a focus on experimental fabrication and characterization of photonic devices, including light sources, modulators, photodetectors, biochemical sensors, and solar cells.
